happi forth of july
today i downloaded a bunch CCR and the first one of em i played was born on the bayou, which he mentions the fourth of july in. i laughed internally (theres no acronym for that) when i heard it. i remember that happened one other time last year in utah, or on the way from utah for that matter..we were driving north on i-15, i think, and the song happened to mention something about the singer being in idaho sometime after dusk around 8, which of course was exactly where and when we were in Idaho. a very odd feeling, indeed. im happy to be free to ride my bicycle and smoke medicinal marijuana at my leisure on a beautiful day off. if youre still reading this, stop whatever youre doing, go outside and reading bullshit like this on the internet. now.

theft in small town Bozeman
i am often careless and irresponsible when it comes to my lifestyle and possessions. this typically leads to things like losing my bike from in front of my house. granted i do not lock it up, and it often stays outside overnight, neglected and vulnerable to weathering and, in this case theft. all in all, i knew in the back of my mind this day would come. theft is how i acquired said vehicle in the first place. subsequently, it'd lost the use of both brakes and the low gears broke. nearly worthless if you ask me. yet i relied on it for transportation to and from my recently acquired place of employment. without it, i found myself making the 45 minute walk this past Sunday, and arriving 5 minutes late for my shift. negligible in the grand scheme of things, but nevertheless, walking takes substantially longer than cycling. i now have shin splints in both legs, my cough/cold has failed to improve, and everything takes longer to do. fuck. can you say fuck in blogs? i sure hope so. if not, this very well may be my first and last posting. see you around cyberspace..
